Lesson Payment & Schedule
ANNUAL CALENDAR
The regular “school year” runs from the last week of August to the first week of June. There are 36 weeks of lessons over the course of the school year.
I take announced breaks during the school year - Fall Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break.
Progress reports are given every semester (2 reports per school year).
SCHOOL YEAR PAYMENTS
Each lesson length has a set price for each month during the school year. The price averages out to the equivalent of 4 lessons per month. Regardless of how many lessons you get that month, the price is the same.
Payments are due by the first scheduled lesson of the month.
SUMMER LESSONS
I teach an announced 8 weeks out of the summer. In order to reserve a lesson time for the following school year, students are expected to take at least 4 lessons over the summer. Lesson rates continue at the average per lesson price. I understand that many people travel over the summer. I remain as flexible as possible with lesson scheduling and structuring – emphasizing Music History, Theory, Sight-Reading, etc. to accommodate busy summer schedules.
